The staff was very nice and helpful! We really appreciated how they held our luggage for us (no charge) since we got there so much earlier before check-in. Our room was very modern and the king size bed...amazing! Glass shower was great too! The only inconvience was the only ice machine they had was on the 12th floor. Other then that our experience was fantastic!

After searching tons of hotels .... on a budget ... we found this one on a special deal. We read the reviews and felt confident in our choice. On arriving to Chicago and seeing our room ... we were thrilled. It looked just like the pictures and I feel they are missing out by not showing a view of the bathroom. You have a marble stall with room and a rain shower head. I loved it! I have recently had back surgery and was trying to figure out how I could take their bed home with me in my suitcase since it was so comfortable. The windows were big and even in the back of the hotel you still had a view of the Sears Tower. The Staff was Awesome to say the least! The always smiled and welcomed you in the door. Even the housekeeping staff was friendly and welcoming. If I were to offer any negatives ... it would be that there were minor issues. The toliet seat wobbled and it needed a bit of grout work around the marble tile in one spot. I did need to get used to stepping around the glass partition in the shower and not having a door to close. Not even a curtain! Actually it was kinda fun. Maybe a mat on the marble inside would have helped to possibly keep you from slipping. I also kinda wished you had the option to open the window. Like I said ... very minor details and I would definatel plan on staying here again !!! The price is very right for a hotel in the Loop area!

Nice boutique style hotel. Front desk people were very friendly. Room looked out on alley, which was not the best. The tiles and granite made it seem very modern but not warm and inviting. No vending machines, but 7-11 and Starbucks right there. Restaurant was overpriced and snooty; not worth the price for the food. Will definitely stay again, but go to a different restaurant (one that includes vegetables not just meat).

After reading many terrible reviews on this site, I was very hesitant about my upcoming stay. I was expecting the rude staff, dirty rooms, etc... What I suprisingly found was helpful, friendly staff, a beautiful, very clean room with a fantastic view of the action of the city, and a very nice fitness facility!
It is located on a safe street, close to a wine store, and close to the red line (the el in case you want to take the train). The fitness facility was awesome. It is in a converted corner unity room, with huge windows that overlook the busy city streets below. hardwood floors, flat screen tv, yoga mats, etc... I was impressed.
The ony downfall to the hotel was that there was no place to get breakfast in the morning. The htoel staff sugests a palce called "orange". We went one morning and wouldnt go back. There wasn't anything "normal" on the menu. I dont think you could even order a bagel! For $10 you can get french toast soaked in a bowl of chai tea. $9 will get you two eggs and toast. I know it's the city and thigns are more expensive, but they charged $3.50 for coffee and $2.50 for a cup of tea! Come on!
Another expense is parking. For $39/ day we paid to have our car parked. While the valet was always helpful and promt, it got pricey.
But, if I had to do it again, I would definetely stay again. We really enjoyed out time. It's a nice location in the heart of the loop. Walking distance to the Magnificent Mile, the train, bus, shopping, etc... for the price, I would reccommend!
