I personally would want to stay in this hotel again. Excellent service and very clean rooms. I like the number of pillows they give you. Very convinient to the McMormick convention center and also very good location to find food. There is a Thai food place down the road or even a nice Italian place that can deliver upto 5:00am in the morning. Breakfast in the morning is muffins, bagels and good old coffee. Never had a chance to go to the resturant inside but next time I want to try that out.

I cant stress enough how friendly the staff was. They were fantastic. Our room had a great view, it was comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. Not a far walk at all from all the good shops and sights. It had a very modern style to it yet it was very comfortable. WIll stay there again.

My daughter and I went to Chicago for a seminar and read many reviews of hotels before we chose The Blake. Starting with, the Doorman--awesome, fun and knowlegable man about the goings on in Chicago, to the large room with the most comfortable and well appointed bed, to the Custom House Restaurant inside the hotel--everything was top notch. We were blown away when we walked into our room and saw the size of it--and the view--with two huge windows overlooking busy city streets--fantastic (Room 524). Desiree at the front desk was friendly and helpful, as well. Cconvenient location, we walked and felt safe day or night, or took taxis if the walk was too far. It's the only place I would stay.
