My wife and I always enjoy our stay at this convenient and relaxing hotel before taking a cruise. It is just minutes away from Port Everglades. This exceptional resort is ideally situated in a lush tropical location with a glorious, large heated pool and outdoor jacuzzi. Everything is surrounded by majestic palm trees and flowering plants. It's towering round high rise is within spectacular view of the ships arriving and departing. We counted 9 on the morning of our departure. You can also enjoy the courtyard guest rooms that are situated in a garden of paradise setting with private lanai's or individual balcony's. The entire complex is connected to to intercostal waterway so many guests arrive by private yacht which they can pull into a dock slip just outside their guest room. The entire staff is always ready to help. The lobby was filled with unique Holiday decorations with create a sense of good spirit among all of the guests. We always enjoy meeting new friends each time we stay at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66. Bob and Missy from Kentucky

Hotel has gone downhill over the years where after our visit this past week, won't stay there again. They turn off a.c. in middle of the night hours (we stayed in tower), room service terrible. Decided to downgrade and move to NEW and REMODELED rooms (2 story ones). Took one look and back to tower. Tile floors with hard mat for 'rug'. Extremely cold feeling. Said it was the 'new' look well they can have the new look. For almost $* a night I want comfort and some kind of luxury! I have to say the beds were WONDERFUL but waking up in middle of night HOT ruined that. Better luck elsewhere...

The hotel is very very old. They advertise a 4 star which was true many years ago in the tower but they put us in the 2 story rooms around the tower. There was no view or any of the comforts. I have stayed in a Hyatt in many other locations and this is no Hyatt. You would be better off in a Super 8 motel. The parking will cost you $* per day minimum. It is not within walking distance to the beach, you will have to drive. Only one restaurant near the hotel and its a suit and tie facility. The claim high speed interent but our was very slow, too slow for Iphone. There is no parking surrounding the rooms, if your placed in the 2 story rooms you will have a long walk from your car.

We were very disappointed in our room, and the hotel in general, we had a party of 3 and had to pay for 2 cars parking 4pm- 10.am. extra *, There were no ice machines,ice bucket, no room service menues, limited vending machines,Stayed one one night,supposedly got a upgrade room,but the paint in bathroom was peeling and was old. We will not go back. stayed in a motel 6 the next night for * that was great ! Paying more for a hotel room doesn't always mean a better room!!!

My wife and I find this hotel a gr8 stop before and after our cruise(s). Very clean! Inbound room was ready, Bell staff considerate - Return - we were able to store our bags, laid by pool until rooom we wanted was ready. We stayed on 11th floor (Tower) overlooking ocean, port and intercoastal - IDEAL! SelectComfort # beds here. Grounds are well maintained, marina is inviting to check out yachts. (1) Restaurant right off Intercoastal. Pool staff awesome. Exercise facility small but adequate. Breakfast buffet was good $$ and Sushi suberb $$$ (remember to ask if special is available, like free bottle or wine or ? when getting Sushi). Trolley right out front door to take you to shop and back. I suggest buying your own snacks or liquor, pour your own for pool or casual indulgence $$$! Complimentary Shuttle to beach and back if needed. NO Shuttle to and from airport but 10 min cab ride, not expensive. Remember your room staff, they deserve a little something at the end of your stay too. Business Center to confirm flights, check-in, free access. Overall, we're doing it all over again Mar. 2010 - Can't wait!!!
