Great location for Broadway buffs!
01/11/2010Very comfortable room and friendly staff. like all hampton inns, breakfast was basic but their "to go" bag for folks who can't get to breakfast was great.

This hotel was the perfect location for walking to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, 5th Ave and Broadway shows. Hotel staff very friendly and the continental breakfast had a wide variety of choices. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate was available 24 hrs. in the lobby and it came in handy after returning from sightseeing.

My sister and I finally got to go to NYC during the Holiday Spectacular! What a great stay at the Hampton Inn. Although I smoke my sister does not, I thought I would go nuts not being able to smoke in our room, not to mention having to go downstairs and outside at all kinds of hours day and night. Well let me tell you it was not a problem at all. Everything I needed was very easy to get to and use. When I felt the need to go outside, down to the elevator and out the door with a short stop at the (FREE) coffee shop. When I would go outside there was always someone watching over me it seemed. They were warm and friendly and very helpful no matter what I seemed to need. And I must give a shout out to the guys who work in the lobby area (not the front desk) the guys that work there were fantastic very gracious and kind. Thank you, for a very pleasent stay and all the help and information you gave to us meant the world to us. Thanks again....C. M. Rm 813

My husband & I spent 5 nights (Nov. 15 - 19,2009). Hotel was very clean, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast very good. Great location, within walking distance to shows, restaurants, shopping. The one negative, hotel is an older building so not too well soundproofed, especially the hallway and door closing. We had to endure a two & 1/2 hr.(from 2 to 4:30 AM) domestic altercation the second nite we were there, with door slamming and running up & down the hallway with loud yelling (by the female using a lot of profanity!!!). Other than that the rest of the nights were quite peaceful.
