We stayed at the palmer house with our children and we loved it. The hotel is only a block away from millenium park and short blocks from the art museum. The concierge was extremely helpful advising us on activities for the children and places to eat. I would highly recommend this hotel - you can't beat its location, luxurious accomodations, and wonderful service.

I would recommend this hotel for many reasons. The price was reasonable and the location could not have been better. The room was very clean as was the hotel lobby. Almost everything we wanted to see was within a short walking distance or not far away by cab. I have stayed at this hotel three times in my Chicago visits and would not hesitate to stay again.

On cross-country drive from NJ to OR, and decided last-minute to make a stop in Chicago. Was fretting about finding a hotel when we found the Palmer House as a last-minute deal. For the price, we couldn't have asked for anything better - great location (in the heart of the downtown loop), gorgeous architecture, spacious and well-designed rooms. Would definitely stay there again.
