  I love this hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful, polite and patient. We checked in early with no problem. The rooms were nicely decorated, spacious and clean. The hotel is an historic landmark I my opinion. They are done an excellent job keeping it beautiful. We had a couple different rooms. A 2 double bed room and a king suite. The suite was huge. Take the family!!!

  We go to Chicago between Christmas and New Years every year with the kids. The hotel rates at that time are really good so we have been able to try many different hotels. IMO this was our best experience yet. The hotel is a part of Chicago history. It has been well maintained. Our rooms were nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The front desk staff was top notch. Very helpful, patient and respectful. I really enjoy State Street for the shopping. The location is very near practically all of the shopping, dining and attractions, north and south of the river. We walked everywhere.
