Hotel is in a good location. Close to lots of things. The staff was great and the bed was very comfortable but the carpet and couch were a little dirty, you could see some stains. The bath tub was a little dirty, enough not to bath in it, but to shower it was ok. The cons - No free internet, the cheapest was $5.00 for 3 Hours which isnt bad and you needed your key to operate the elevator, which is a great safety feature but a pain if you left with out it.

The service staff was pretty good along with it's room service. They only thing I didn't like is that I had to pay for the wifi & parking. I've stayed in neighboring hotels that cost less & those 2 itesm were free. The smell of old hotel (I'm not sure if it's the carpets & wall paper that does it) was pretty strong. Again their neighboring competitors of "5 star" height did not.

For a city as big and confusing as Guadalajara, I was glad my family and I were staying here, it had everything we needed and then some. The concierge even located a private chauffered car for our trip back to the airport, which is a good distance away, for a reasonable price unheard of in the states. I would recommend this service over a taxi anytime. They have two very nice resturants on site as well as several watering holes, and close to many nice places. Get a taxi to the close places, but go with the private car back to the airport. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which allowed me and my wife our privacy and a large living room with a fold out bed for our 10 year old daughter, each room came with a large flat screen TV, and our own bathrooms, excellent!
