I arrived early morning via walking from the Metro which was only a couple blocks away (but all up hill). The wonderful clerk at check in promptly found me a room and allowed me to check in around 10 am. I needed a nap before I could start my weekend of sight seeing!

The Hilton is in a young and happening area. I felt safe at all times with my kids. The staff was very helpful and courteous.The kids loved the pool. The whole experience was very pleasant and I'd recommend it.The one con is the high price for parking. I felt the hotel shouldn't gouge their guest.

My stay at this hotel was terrific from start to finish. I highly recommend an upgrade to upper floor/city view. Our room was immaculate. The check in and check out experience was very efficient. Valet service was top notch. I didn't care for the restaurants after one dinner upon arrival and a hurried (tremendously expensive) breakfast buffet. This hotel is in a good location to the Metro (day or night) and the double decker tour bus (a must to really get around and see the sights) stops at the hotel side entrance every half hour from 9 am to 6 pm. We would definitely stay again. Oh, and free wi fi hot spots in lobby were better than NONE. Happy traveling!

Wonderful, clean, friendly, historic hotel
04/13/2011The staff was great. always friendly and helpful. the hotel was clean, nice, with great amenities. the bar/restaraunt was great too.
