Generally nice hotel but watch out for extra costs
07/26/2012Nice overall hotel with good location (in close proximity to many areas of interest) but parking is extra as is the wifi.

The Staff was very attentive and friendly. The room was well maintained and it had a beautiful view of the Washington Monument in the distance. I loved the bathroom (tile and faux mahogany with a sliding smoked-glass privacy door. Plenty of closet and dresser space for clothing. The bed was very comfortable. There’s an outdoor swimming pool that had lanes reserved for swimming laps and also a hot tub. The grounds had a grassy play area for kids. All of this in the heart of the city.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The beds are so comfortable, staff is very helpful, and the food was delicious. I would not recommend eating there for breakfast as it is very expensive, unless of course you like paying around eleven dollars and up for it. The metro is about four to five blocks away. The neighborhood is charming.
