This was a nice place to stay. We had everything we needed. There was quite a bit of chlorine in the pool and it was quite busy but our needs were met and it was clean and the staff was polite. It's not really high quality but clean and simple.

Disturbing--never again

We read reviews and thought this hotel would be a solid economy hotel. Rather than go into detail about the genuinely shabby condition, tub that didn't drain, lamp shades with grimy brown stains on them, a bathroom door that was literally peeling away in strips, and various other issues, I will state the most important: there was a clean, one-inch hole in our wall that travelled through the wall, from a spot about five inches over the bed, toward some sort of housekeeping/office room next door. We know it was at least five inches deep because we put a ballpoint pen into it to check. I managed to get entrance to this other room, and found sticky notes taped all over the wall, so I was unable to find the exit/entrance point of the hole. We will not stay here or at any other Baymont Inn again.

We have stayed here several times and the rooms are always clean and the staff is helpful. The breakfast and pool are great if you are traveling with children. This time however we received a room next to the stairs. We were happy to be next to the stairs, however it was very noisy. Fellow travelers are not really quiet when they move luggage and run down the stairs. If you find you have a room next to the stairs, I suggest you ask for another.

06/11/2007This hotel is close to the eiu campus - about a 10 minute drive from the university. it was clean and comfortable for a decent price.
