This appears to be an older hotel about ready for a renovation. My first room had bugs. The employee at the front desk I spoke to about it was very nice and moved me to another room immediately. (There was a portable dehumidifier in the original room. I assume the problem was known.) I had no bug problem in the second room. The decor is "older" and the rooms are small, but the price is quite a bargain. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a bargain (just make sure you check for bugs before you unpack). For anyone wanting the "beach experience," this would probably not be the best choice.

This appears to be an older hotel about ready for a renovation. My first room had bugs. The employee at the front desk I spoke to about it was very nice and moved me to another room immediately. (There was a portable dehumidifier in the original room. I assume the problem was known.) I had no bug problem in the second room. This hotel is for travelers who are going to be out of the room much of their stay. It is a clean and hospitable, yet worn hotel. The pool is clean and adequate as respite from the beach. The staff is friendly enough. The free breakfast fits the bill with eggs, sausage and biscuit along with cold items as well. The hotel was quiet between 10 and 11 when the mini golf winds down next door. This was our second stay and the value allows us a return trip to HHI in the future.

My friends and I came down over the past weekend and it was a awesome place to stay so close to the beach! But just outside the crazy hecticness that is Hilton Head. Minutes from everything and right next to one of my favorite things, the Pirate Putt Putt!! I love their cheaper rates and the hotel was pretty standard for any room. Pool. Breakfast. And wifi. This was our second time to stay here and next time we go to Hilton Head we're probably going to stay again!
