Granted it was spring break and I knew the place was booked so I was ready for the crowds for breakfast and using the pool. However, the hotel staff seem unprepared. Waited an hour by the pool and no clean towels were available (had to just get the towels from the room...took housekeeping an hour plus to replace them in the room). Breakfast was terrible (worst I ever had at an Embassy suite). The photos show outdoor dining area with clean tables ...very misleading (also no umbrellas were to be found). They were so short that the front desk manager was also working the kitchen. Hadn't been for the fact that the room was decent and clean we would've left early. Next time I will try the La Quinta Embassy Suite instead (or the Marriot Villas).

Liked the idea of the suite and haveing space. We were in a suite near the elevator on the first floor and it was very loud. You could tell it was an older place that had been redone. Beds were ok. Pool had about 150 people in it, staff couldn't provide more than 10 pool towels at a time. People were running for the staff when they would see them coming with the pool towels hoping to get one. Disappointing! Didnt even try for a towel on day 2. Tennis courts were very nice. My kids wanted to check ou a volleyball and try out the sand court. Hotel only had a very flat ball that they couldn't inflate. Didn't try out their cocktail hour. But their cook to order breakfast was quite good. Overall not a bad place to stay, but for the price I paid I could have stayed down the street at a top ofthe line resort for a little more.

Only one problem - this is a 2 rooom suite, if you wish to change temperature in one of the rooms and the thermostat is in other room, adjusting the temperature on thermostat will affect only the room in which the thermostat is located, not the other room. Therefore, one room may be cold but thermostat is in other room, adjustment of thermostat will not make it any warmer as the thermostat is not in that room.

The bed was less than comfortable. The suite was roomy. The breakfast with made to order omeletes was excellent as was the service. The pool and pool area was very nice. The free happy hour was also an added benefit. The restaurant in the hotel was very good--good food and good service. For the price, I would recommend the hotel, but they do need to consider new mattresses.
