  The staff is wonderful, and the rooms nice. You can open a window and get fresh air. The complimentary breakfast is one of the best. My only complaints are that the coffee is weak, and the room smelled a bit too much of cleaning products. But you know it is clean!

  This is not my 1st time staying in various ES so I knew what to expect. In this particular stay, I noticed that certain section of the public area carpet was rather old and looked dirty. It appeared that it was about time to be changed. My biggest complaint was that there wasn't enough staff manning the breakfast. Towards the end, there wasn't enough bowl, OJ ran out and many tables need to be cleaned.

  We were in town for a college football game and it was our first time in the Pasadena area. The location was near perfect for getting to the highways that we needed. The hotel was conveniently located near shopping and restaurants to our satisfaction. The free breakfast was excellent!! Very quiet and comfortable environment. Staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable of the area. Overall excellent experience.
