I actually really liked our hotel. I spent hours searching for the right hotel for the right price, and I was able to find this hotel for alot cheaper than most of the other hotels, with lower star ratings. We spent 8 nights there. The room looked exactly liked the picture and had a contemporary feel. The TV was smaller than I imagine but it was big enough for the room. I worked out in the fitness room, and it was small but possessed a treadmill, bike, precor and eliptical, in addition to weights benches, abdominal ball, wall of mirrors and a TV with remote. Staff was friendly and location in Waikiki was perfect. Only about a 5 minute walk to the beach and the major shopping and restaurant streets, and it was only a couple minutes if you were to cut through the International Market Place, which was next door to the hotel. Friday and Saturday nights were kind of loud, and the hotel provides ear plugs for light sleepers. I slept fine despite the occasional fight in the street, car alarms, and police sirens, but my boyfriend didn't sleep as soundly. The hotel is across the alley from 2 popular night clubs that close at 4am, so you are able to hear people leaving the bars. But if you like to stay out late dancing, the hotel would be a short walk away. I would probably stay there again, no major complaints.

I would definite recommend this hotel if you are staying in Wakiki for any lenght of time. This hotel is centrally located near all the hot spots and the best eateries. However, I would advice the upper floors if you are a lite sleeper. Rental car is not needed unless you want to get away from the crowd and see the country side of Oahu. There are ABC stores on every block in Wakiki which sells everything from apples to your favorite adult drink. One attraction I would definite recommend is the Navatek dinner cruise which I think is a must see. Do not book any tours or events before your trip due to better negotiable prices upon your arrival. This hotel was in the most incredible location. Everything was close by and convenient. We brought our children, 1 year and 8 years. So we were inside pretty early, 8pm. That time is when the nightlife started roaring. We were on the 7th floor and it was still very noisy. The hotel itself was very clean, the staff was nice (even when someone pulled a Fire alarm at 2am!) This is a great hotel if you're looking to sleep and be close to everything. If you have small kids though, be aware that it is very very very noisy at night, even with earplugs. But I would stay again, minus the kids. It'd be perfect if you wanted to stay out til 2am, then come home and sleep, because the partying would be all done and it'd be quiet by then!
