This hotel was worse than I expected. I guess I held it to standards of average hotels in California. But either way, the hotel itself was fairly old and did not meet up to the standards of what I expected according to the information and reviews on the website. For a cheap and average stay at Waikiki it is okay. But next time I stay in Waikiki I would pay more and stay at a better hotel because you definitely get your money's worth. Negative Aspects: * Hotel building is old * fairly but not very clean * loud because the alley way and parking lot is right next to some of the rooms (my room) * parking is terrible. First come first serve basis and spaces are very small. Extra parking is available at a lot but it does not look too safe *elevator is terribly slow Positive Aspects: * Staff is friendly and prompt * Towels for the beach are always ready and available to rent for free. Just need to bring it back the same day. * Free Snacks and drinks in the lobby on Wednesdays * Location is fairly close to the Waikiki Beach and other tourist attractions/malls/food places

Very good location, didn't need a rental car. Close to beach. Bus stop was across the street, and bus service is excellent. The hotel staff was very helpful, and made our stay very enjoyable. Our total experience was very nice, and would recommend to anyone.

This may not be an oceanfront view, but it is still less than a two minute walk from the beach & is a wonderful hotel if your just looking for a place to sleep! i would stay there again. The only downside to this hotel would be the lack of parking. You can park in the complex, but i believe it was around $20/night.

We were a family of four, three adults, and had plenty of room. We chose a corner suite with a bedroom separated by sliding doors, a mini kitchen bar area, and balconies. The view was great. Room was clean at arrival, kept a little sand each day after we returned from the beach. It was a steal of a deal for the price we paid.

If you want a place to stay that's centrally located in Waikiki and a great value, this is fine. Pros are: located right behind the International Market Place and easy walk to beach, parking available, rooms comfy and clean. Could even see a glimpse of Diamond Head and the ocean from the lanais. Cons were the noise if room in the front near the street; the luggage lift wasn't working so had to lift our luggage up front steps and steps from the garage (Not much bellman service). Most of the staff were friendly but not overly helpful. Did have free drinks and snacks in the lobby one day. Their lot was small but could use parking next door too for $15-20/day. We had rental cars to drive all over the island so that was a plus for Waikiki. Fine for bargain travelers who don't plan to stay in the room all day!
