I was pleasantly surprised by the updated room with comfortable beds and a good shower. Don't let the dated and worn exterior or shabby hallways (and barely functional elevator) put you off, the rooms are well worth any disappointment.

I realize that I did not stay in a five star hotel, however I was only in town for the weekend, and got what I expected. It was a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay. What I did not expect was how nice and accomodating the staff would be. I arrived in town earlier than anticipated, and they went above and beyond to get us into a room much earlier than te promised check-in. They were timely in getting extra towels and a cot to the room, and made the experience go a lot smoother. Customer service is always the difference.
