We only had one complaint. The workout room was really bad. There were 2 cardio machines and neither worked. We just wanted a couple of nice treadmills, ended up just walking the stairs. I think a hotel like this could do better.

It is a typical, affordable "sleep over" hotel that serves it's purpose. You wake up, grab a bite in a crowdy cafeteria ("breakfast" included in price), run around beautiful San Diego all day long, come back tired and go straight to bed. It's family friendly, cheap, fairly clean and, most importatnly, ideally positioned for the majority of city atractions. This is not one of these places you recommend to your friends. Although, if you want to save a few bucks and enjoy San Diego, it's the right place. And don't forget: you will remember magnificent San Diego.

The daily parking fee is a rip off...it is a standard open parking lot and a "fee" to park is just a way to rip you off. The brekfast area is good for weekdays but was packed on the weekend with no seats available. Best bet is to get in there early.

Because my stay in San Diego corresponded to the excessive rain, there were some unforseeable problems. However, the staff of the Comfort Inn did everything in their power to correct the situation. Despite the rain problems, the stay was very enjoyable.
