Nice expanded breakfast with a pleasant, spacious area to eat. Real plates, cups and silverware was much nicer than the plastic and styrofoam stuff you usually get. Beds comfortable and the sheets are very soft. Nice shower with lots of hot water. The walls are a bit thin. When we had no neighbors things were great, but when we had a neighbor the plumbing noise kept us awake. There are nice restaurants nearby, one right across the street.

The hotel was clean and I was able to get the best sleep on there beds!

What a nice, warm hotel. Great staff, very helpful and caring. We all enjoyed the pool and spa also good size commons area with tv by pool. kids could swim and I could watch and read a book. Close to shopping the jefferson shops and downtown. Lots of unique eateries. Easy to get on the Hwy to scout out Northern Door without having to pay hugh lodging bill. We'll be backand telling friends about this find.

02/08/2011Economically priced. kid and dog friendly environment. above average breakfast. accomodating staff. very functional. its not a five star hotel but it will make the kids happy.

Sturgeon Bay is the county seat but the heart of Door county is 30 mins north. You wont want to stay in Sturgeon Bay if you want to expereince true Door County. Dont get me wrong, Sturgeon Bay can be interesting. It just probably isnt what you have in mind when your are thinking Door County.
