The price was right. We were centrally located which was wonderful. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond--very helpful! We could purchase a Muni pass at the hotel and reserve a car for a day. Our room was small, but clean and very comfortable. When we were out touring, the size of the room didn't matter so much.

Located just blocks from Fisherman's Wharf, a grocery store and local restaurants, the hotel met our need. The staff were friendly, helpful and made us feel welcomed. I did not appreciate the smoking area being 10 feet from the entrance. Because it was an enclosed area, smoke lingered and I had to walk through second hand smoke both coming and going. I recommend they move this to street side or simply become a SMOKE -FREE hotel!
