i picked this hotel for it's location and price. I was not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. the staff was freindly and helpful. Met some great people while staying here. The accomodations were roomy, and clean. I would recommend staying here to anyone who wants to stay close to the wharf area. I would definitley stay here again.

Location was perfect as long as we stayed away from the too touristy fisherman's wharf and instead walked to North Beach where we spent most of our trip. Room was clean and served its purpose. Had a small window with a view of the alley. Other than that, no complaints. I would recommend it to others as I did a lot of research beforehand and this was the best priced hotel in the area.

The pillowtop beds were super comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening wine social where we met a delightful English couple that were also wine afficionados and we continue to be friends. We particularly liked the Fisherman's Wharf location and the Italian Restaurant adjacent to the hotel was authentic (we lived in Italy 4 years so we know) and delicious. The only thing that marred our visit was their maintenance of one of their two elevators was inconvenient. I have recommended this hotel to several of our friends. I am handicapped and use a wheel chair and had no problems. Our room was fully handicap accessible.

The hotel staff was great. Rooms were not large but comfortable, clean and well decorated. Two blocks from the bay and Sour Dough Bread Company. Really enjoyed my stay. I would definately stay here again!

I did not have any major complaints about this hotel, other than the fact that our room and bathroom were quite small. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location made this a perfect choice for taking in all the sights and sounds of Fisherman's Wharf.
