Dirty old ghetto rooms and unfriendly staff. the room had paint chips all over it, the bed was hard, the tv was ghetto and old. housekeeping ignored the do not disturb sign and woke us up, very annoying. front desk staff was very rude, common areas were unclean

Bed was worn out. Light fixtures Broken. Hallways needed to be vacuumed.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We were in Phoenix for the NASCAR race and found that most hotels had pushed their prices up for that weekend. This hotel had a reasonble price compared to others. When we got there, the girl at the counter was nice, funny, and got us our keys quickly. The hotel lobby is nice. The room was pretty nice but that is where the age of the hotel shows. The hotel seems to be a little old. The TV was of the old tube type. It just feels like it hasn't been renovated in a while. Doesn't make it bad, I just know some people expect LCD TVs and modern styling in their rooms. The bed was alright. I would gladly stay here again, it was not too expensive, quiet, and generally pleasing.

At check-in there was no help with luggage although they did let me use a luggage cart myself and take my bags to the room and bring the cart back! Bedding is very old and worn, I would not put anything in the fridge.....yuck, mold in the shower....unable to turn on the shower! I called the front desk and they said, "That is a tricky one, let me talk you through starting it, if you can't get it going we will send someone up." At 7am...I don't think so. No covered parking, in Phoenix that is a must.

I have stayed at the Grace Inn many times over the past several years. It has a look of the 60's when it must have been state-of-art. Today it is slightly warn, but it has a friendly staff, large rooms (outfitted with facilities for light meal preparation, a significant pool area and some on-site facilities for massages, weekend breakfasts, etc.
