I was excited to stay here, as I used to work at the attached restaurant and was always impressed by the management and staff. Was further impressed to see the renovated lobby area. Was sadly disappointed to get to the room and find it dumpy, drab, and small. It wasn't dirty, per se, but wasn't the cleanest I've ever been in. Hallways were narrow and carpet beat all to heck. The "free breakfast buffet" in the restaurant was worse than in hotels where all they HAVE is the free breakfast buffet. Internet as not accessable from our room, so there went the movies we planned to watch on streaming while ringing in the new year. If it was one of the cheapest nights in town, I'd have given it a higher rating, but it isn't. I got "Motel 6" value for "Holiday Inn" prices. Two thumbs down.

lots of plumbing noise from the rooms next door and above us, could hear the people upstair walking around, the sheets were new, but had a texture to them that both my husband and I found annoying, the breakfast is ample with many choises and lots of it available, the bathroom is small

Nice motel! The other two I have stayed at in Mankato had MAJOr problems. This one was nice. Worth the extra $$$ over the others. It would be nice for families. Had a lovely pool, nice rooms and great conference facilities.

Took 3 teenage boys to Vikes training camp. They LOVED the hotel and so did I. Good games, Massive pool, Very freindly staff, dining room was ok, Conti breakfast was excellant. Can't wait to go there again!
