the staff was exceptional, gave great dining recommendations and tips. Room was comfortable, looking over the pool and away from the street. The street can be noisy with lots of traffic, so if that might bother you and you have a choice, choose the side farthest from the street over the pool. Only noises we heard were of occasional guests passing by the hallway. we also enjoyed our dining experiences at the shoreline and rusty's pizza.

It's not a luxury hotel, but it's a nice place to stay. The kids had a blast in the pool, and we loved the proximity to the beach and bike path. The only con: we had a room overlooking the park, so it was not-so-nice to have a view of its homeless residents, or should I say their view of us?

I want to commend the cleaning staff and the general manager for finding my daughter's stuffed animals and mailing them to her free of charge. The look on her face when she saw the toys was priceless. Thank you for taking the extra steps! The price was good for the location near the wharf and ocean. We took the Amtrak in and it's great the hotel was on the Shuttle route. We got to everything without a car. The free continental breakfast had enough food for everyone. Overall, the experience was great! Only thing my husband would have liked was a jaccuzzi/spa.
