  We spent 5 nights at the BW Island Palms on Shelter Island in Feb 2012. The location is absolutely perfect for any San Diego trip and Shelter Island is beautiful and very peaceful! We enjoyed the great pool and had some great dinners at the Blue Wave restaurant. Walking along the marina and the bay was also very enjoyable. The room was very clean and comfortable with a smallish bedroom and a huge marble bathroom. I love the shutters on the windows which made the place feel tropical. We'll definitely be staying there again!!

  Especially hotel crew was so friendly and i you have any questions they try to help you immediatly clean and they have jakuzi which has a great view after all ...

  Especially hotel crew was so friendly and I you have any questions they try to help you immediatly clean and they have jakuzi which has a great view after all thy hunging around you can relax an it's open till 11 oclock at night

  We found the hotel staff friendly and very accommodating. Our room was upscale with comfortable beds that adjusted the firmness/softness on each side. The room looked out on the marina, and we enjoyed watching the boats as we ate our breakfast provided by a very efficient room service staff. Island Palms is very close to everything yet seemed far away from the hustle of the city. We were only 8 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from all the attractions of downtown. There is a lovely park across the street that looks out on San Diego Bay. We walked out on the pier one evening and felt very safe in the area. We would recommend this hotel to anyone going to the San Diego area.
