very good downtown location
02/08/2011It was hard to find since it was on a one way street. secure parking lot, nice pool, great breakfast, very good resturant.

Yea the area is kinda ghetto but this hotel is in a compound and it is absolutely easy to get to anywhere in San Jose for a couple bucks. I felt safe here and the price is excellent! I would reccommend this place to any traveler- and the FREE breakfeast is yummy! From San Diego California.

I have been staying there on and off for 10 years. The staff has always been great and is a excellent starting off point with a helpful travel desk. I like to stay there because I get to feel the real San Jose as opposed to shuttling in from the outlaying areas. It is close enough that I can eat, shop and be a tourist simply by walking and return to a clean quiet room.

02/07/2011The beds were uncomfortable, there is a garbage dump behind the hotel and the bathroom was gross-the shower backed up and the toilet barely flushed.

This Hotel is about six blocks from the heart of San Jose. I stayed here for a couple of nights and another Hotel close by.This Hotel was half the price and safe.Round trip from the Airport is included, that's about $35 bucks each way. Breakfast was included. Tip to Travelers DO NOT change money at the Airport, do it in town ,save yourself 10%.
