From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. This hotel was just amazing. The room and the view of the ocean from our own private balcony was just breathtaking. The food was good and prices were average. Parking and getting around was a bit of a challenge, as valet parking is the only option. Overall, I will be booking another trip to this hotel in October.

My vacation at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort was terrific! The hotel is much more quaint then the picture reflects; and sits right on the beach in Fort Laurderdale. You can walk in one direction to find residential communities with great restaurants and the other to eat, drink and dance in name brand hotels with lots of nightlife. Room was giant with southern-plantation feel; balcony overlooked the ocean. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed in a Queen suite w/oceanview and private balcony. Highly recommended this accomodation!! Worth it! Food was very good and the wait staff couldn't have been friendlier. The ice cream parlor was a hit and had many items to purchase. The private beach was well maintained with its own lounge chairs and umbrellas. The hotel was quiet and not within walking distance to the happening area. This can be a pro or a con depending on what you are looking for. We took taxis to that area by the mall and las olas blvd; about a $10 fee. We had teenage boys with us so it kept them out of trouble, but they were a little bored. I would recommend this hotel for families though.

We have always enjoyed the amenities at the Pelican Grand Beach Resort. The views are spectacular and the rooms are wonderfully spacious, cheerful & bright colored. A wonderful place to relax is on the large porch, sitting in the rocking chairs overlooking the ocean, listening to the waves crashing on the beach while sipping on a cold beverage. Makes me wish I was back there at this moment. All in all a excellent facility to visit.
