This was my first time in Chicago. The staff made me feel very welcome and if I had any questions on where to go and how to get there, they had the knowledge of how to get me there and back. I had a great time and would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Allerton Hotel staff for a great stay and making me feel like a Queen.

We had a "girls long weekend" in Chicago and stayed at the Allerton. It was a great choice - within walking distance of Water Tower Place with a "hop on/hop off" trolley stop nearby. The accomodations were great and the staff was helpful. After one very long day of sightseeing, we ordered room service for dinner. We just had burgers, but they were EXCELLENT! I can't think of anything negative about our stay - I'd definitely stay here again, and recommend it to others.

We got a killer deal on this hotel and they even upgraded us to a larger room for free. The location of the hotel gave us prime location to all of Chicago's great attractions. Shopping was a close walk and anything else we could ride the L(subway) or the bus. The size of the room was quite small but everything in the room served a purpose and was high quality. I would definitely stay here again.

The Allerton was overbooked when I arrived but they put me up in a place just 1 block away for the first night promising to make it worth my while if I decided to return. When I came back to finish the remainder of my 2 week visit to Chicago, The Allerton gave me a spacious suite and treated me much better than I would have expected. Thumbs up to The Allerton and the way they handled the situation.

We were comfortable taking the train from ORD to midtown ,then take a taxi to the hotel. Speedy help to get your luggage out and up to the room. We had learned from reviews on this forum that the rooms are small....yes they are smaller than the average European hotel,it's pardon me excuse me all the time however,the amenities in the bathroom are standard with every other hotel, the bed ,taking 85% of the room is #1 comfy, HVAC is up to par, considering all, the location is definitely an aaa plus and the price is right! We'll be back.
