Small rooms--great location
04/04/2012Very small standard rooms--bar closes early. friendly staff, nice decor...slow elevators--you are right on the magnificent mile, very safe and busy area.

Excellent location in the downtown right in the center of activity at Michigan Ave (Magnificent Mile). The M Avenue Restaurant & Lounge is great. Most tourist locations are at a walking distance and well connected by public transport (just in case you are not driving). Room was clean and well equipped. Missed the coffee maker though.

Location of this hotel is unbeatable. I also went to valet my car, which is $48 a night and must be out by 2pm the next day. We were staying until 7pm so they wanted an additional $29. The valet whispered to me to just park across the street in a garage. It was about two blocks away...not bad at all and I only had to pay $38 for 24 hours. Saved me over $40!

Other than slow elevators, the hotel is great! I got a free upgrade just for being nice to the check in staff. The room had a great view of the strip, but the windows were rather small. The bed was awesome and everything about the say was great! Totally recommend it!!
