I actually stayed at this hotel in 1993 when it was called Outrigger East. I was alarmed that the room had absolutely no updates from 19 years ago. The staff was great but the room was so so. The bed was rock hard and I didn't sleep well the entire time. The TV was a tube style. I didn't go to Hawaii to watch tv, but I have not seen a tv like that in a hotel room in a looong time. Also, it was interesting that in the bathroom when they needed to paint, they just pain over the door hinges and everything. But for the money, it was fine and the staff from the housekeeper to the front desk were great. I would recomend this hotel as long as you were not going to spend a lot of time in it.

This was a very nice hotel. My daughter spent a lot of time going back and forth from the hot tub to the pool. There was a little tiny lanai that looked out over the pool. There was free wireless. There was a coffee maker. The bed was comfy. AND IT's IN HAWAII !! I wish I was still in Hawaii, but now I'm back at my stupid, ugly desk writing this review so that I can get money to go back to Hawaii!! A bit of a hike to the beach . . .

Ive stayed at ohana east on another trip. Its central located and easy connects with the pink trolley line and bus system and short 2 block walk to the beach. staff was helpful and met our needs without anyproblem. My really only complaint is the bed comfort. It was a little firm for my taste but not impossible to use. loved the fact it had a frig and coffee maker. made use of them the whole stay.

I was again amazed with how clean the parking garage floors were! Two bed rooms had double beds and was crowded for two people. Pool was alittle chilly but spent the days at the beach!
