Had a great experience. Came in very early the day of check in and we were hoping to just leave our bags and change clothes. Amazingly they offered early check in and we were able to change in the room and get settled in. Great view of Navy Pier from our room! Comfy beds and helpful staff! I would stay here again.

I stayed at Swissotel Chicago and wanted to share feedback about the visit. Swissotel is known for luxury and this hotel is not luxurious. I made the reservation via a third party vendor and was extremely disappointed to discover that an additional fee was needed to use the pool/fitness facilities. This is very uncommon and not clearly noted. As such, I was advised to upgrade my accommodations to a room that included these services. The experience with the front desk felt high pressure and was not the practice in other high end hotels in Chicago. In addition, the parking fees were very high. They are about $* higher than most of hotels in the area. Further. The accommodations were clearly dated. There was flooring modeling missing in the fitness center, the pool deck was untidy, the bathroom lacked proper lighting and ventilation, etc etc. Consider other options!!

Very comfortable hotel with a very nice room with a great view of the lake. The elevator is very difficult to operate sometimes requiring staff help and causing long waiting periods. The restaurant, apparently an old chain franchise, has nothing swiss about it and thus was disappointing.
