The Swissotel has a great location, close to Michigan Avenue shopping, dining, nightlife and Navy Pier. The staff is courteous, friendly, and welcoming. The views are great due to the hotel's proximity along the River and near Lake Michigan. I've stayed here a couple of times and the value is tremendous for such a prime location! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area for business or leisure.

I will say the staff was friendly but the room left much to be desired. Room was smaller than anticipated. In fact it was possibly the smallest I ever stayed in. For perspective, I travel approximately 60-70 nights annually. Bed was badly worn on one side. Bathroom was horendous. Towels had what appeared to be blood stains (large spots), toilet required three flushes to clear bowl, toilet seat had a raised outer rim that was painful to sit on (I would wait until we were in a restaurant), shower stall was so small that I felt I was in a pez dispenser, and shower door did not seal so floor would flood. We were only there for 3 nights so it was ok but I did inform the front desk. Location was nice for the Navy Pier and Millenium Park. This room was an upgrade but I never could see the enhancements other than view. I highly doubt I will stay there again.

I will definitely be staying at the Swissotel on my next visit to Chicago. With its modern vibe, convenience, and excellent services, I felt more than welcomed. The lobbyists had no problem assisting me with my journey around the Windy City and recommended fun activities according to what I wanted. The pool and gym are excellent, with many features. I highly regard the Swissotel as the best in Chicago and I look forward to revisiting and telling my colleagues and friends about my experience.
