After visiting Atlanta regularly for the past 4 years, I believe i have been in all 4 stars of the downtown area. The Ritz just stay atop the list for the money....and by a long shot. They just have the perfect balance of hospitality, comfort, design, great restaurant, for the money Highly recommend it.

Impeccable service, fabulous room, a wonderful stay. And it was actually quiet enough to get some sleep on a weekend, and not every hotel in Atlanta can say that. If you're not from Atlanta, just be aware that (1) this are has its share of panhandlers on the sidewalks and (2) most of the nightlife you're probably going to want is going to be a 15-30 minute drive from the hotel.

It was an escape trip to Atlanta, for a weekend. I was searching for a good deal of vacation pacakage and The Ritz showed up on the list, of course because of the name I choose this property due to the experience in another Ritz Carlton Hotel. I have to say that probably I created myself a big expectation about the hotel (because of the brand) but I felt a little bit dessapointed when I arrived. The public areas like The Lobby, Lobby Bar and Restaurant are very small. the front desk staff was really friendly and efficient in the check-in process. I did not stay in the hotel for long time. I was just for 2 days and inmediatley went out to visit the city. One thing that really sorprise me was that the Ipod deck on the room was broke. I did call to the front desk to reported and I was kindly told that It will be fixed inmediately. When I returned at night the problem wasn't solve. I did call for a second time and mention that it was reported from the morning and no solution at all. some body came to change it and place a brand new one. From my understanding a Hotel like that can not afford that details in a room. Exccelence is part of Ritz Carlton. Overall it was a nice hotel experience. I recommend this place to stay if you travel to Atlanta. is centrally located and walking distance to many restaurants and bars.

I was very concern when I learned that I was going to be leaving my state later than I anticipated especially with a 8 1/2 hr drive time from Louisiana to Georgia, I arrived about 9 pm customer service was very friendly, accomodating and it didn't take no time for me to check in. The room was exactly what I requested, the room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and all the amenties that was needed was provided. The staff was very friendly and helpful always opened the doors and asked if we needed directions, maps or suggestions this hotel was truly a 5 star rating to me. Valet was even better they also opened car doors not only for me but for the entire family they also asked if we needed directions, suggestions and water each time we left the price for valet parking was well worth it. This was my first trip to Atl and we all enjoyed our time there the service and hospitality given to us well definetly stay at the Ritz Carlton Atlanta again. Thanks to all at the hotel for making our trip enjoyable.

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton for four nights 07/22/2010 through 07/26/10 from the time we checked in with late arrival the service and hospitality was beyond perfect, the young lady working behind the counter delivered fast, courteous and excellent customer service. We didn't valet park that night thinking it would be cheaper parking ourselves but not true, everytime you leave you have to pay so that can be expensive. For the rest of our stay we decided to use the valet service again remarkable customer service, they were always willing to give directions offer things to do and always opened the doors even for my fiance' which was humerous to me. The rooms were cleaned twice a day everyday which was a plus and the beds were very comfortable all the essentials were there if needed I highly recommend this hotel, this was my first trip to Atlanta, Ga and if I return again (something I'm definetly planning in the future) I will stay at the Ritz Carlton so worth the price. I gave them 5 stars.
