Great Location to all the public transportation. I love having the Bart out the front door. Had some really good food too in the Market St. Grill. Great place and the lobby is just Grand.

Charming place in a great location -- convenient to BART, Walgreens a block away for those forgotten essentials, cool arts fair & market a few blocks away. Warnings of panhandlers were largely unfounded -- I found them less aggressive than in other cities. My daughter and I felt totally safe at all times -- she walked with a friend to her meeting a few blocks away and I (a lone female) walked around the area with no fear. The staff was helpful and exceedingly accommodating, and the room was comfortable (Though the bathroom doorknob fell off and some of the outlets didn't work, we had no serious problems). Overall, a great stay. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

The hotel was clean, the room was decent and comfortable and I slept very well. It's not a $400 a night premium hotel but for the money it's an excellent value. The location is fine and very close to Union Square and BART. The homeless situation is not the hotel's fault....it's a city problem and you find it everywhere. I was quite pleased with the hotel and shocked at how reasonable the rates are. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is right by a BART stop, so easy to go to/from SFO airport using BART. The hotel staff is extremely courteous, rooms were adequately furnished. The only downside was the location. The hotel is in a two block area which has alot of homeless nearby. It is a short walk to Union Square though and Market Street has a bus stop right outside the hotel. So overall, its a great value for what you pay and I would go here again!

Stayed there for my daughters Cheer Competition and what a terrible location. Many homeless folks in the area doing illegal things right in front of the public, families...old hotel...expensive, not very many restaurants in the area other than Burger King. Also, saw many ladies of the night there. I definitely do not recommend this hotel...VERY UNSAFE....only this good about this hotel is it is close to the BART and that's it!!!!
