this hotel is conveniently located steps away from the subway station and bus station. the hotel is beautifully decorated in an antique style and the room is extremely large with a walk-in closet, large bathroom, and large bed. the housekeeping staff are very friendly and they do an excellent job. there is also a visitors booth in the lobby for tourists to ask questions and the staff working there are amazing. the city maps they provide are better than others and the staff are very friendly and can advise you which buses to take and which routes to go. overall, it's a great hotel with great staff!

My stay at the Hotel whitcomb was relaxing a real nice place to stay the beds were very comfortable the room was clean upon our check-in I would stay there again if i were too stay in San Francisco I would like to plan another trip some day maybe if i win I will plan another visit

It was a very nice and clean room! A little on the small side but did not spend much time in room. Had thee most amazing burger in a little cafe down the street. Neighborhood is a little iffy and it was not in the center of everything but its so easy to get around in SF, it didn't matter!

There are few places to go around this hotel, especially in the evening. It is not in a nice part of SF. We see homeless people hanging around everywhere. Even worse, during the weekend we stayed there, the hotel hosted a convention which I will not name here. It filled with people who smoke, it created an enviroment just uncomfortable and family unfriendly. The servie was slow. The room is old and tiny. The bed was comfortable though.
