This is our second stay at the Parc. We were there in Jan. last year for a week. Remember you are in an urban city. Outside noise and crowds go with the territory. Room seems soundproof. The location and amenities got us to return. Close to the beach walk and great shopping and eateries. We like the clean rooms but they are small. Bed comfy. Splurge for an ocean view room, it is worth the exra cost. Parking is included in room cost which is a bargain. The pool is on the roof, small but not busy. The hotel is small and intimate with modern Asian theme. Staff is friendly and helpful. We will return.

We prepaid a 6 night stay for a deluxe ocean view. Checked into a top floor room that was at least 85 degrees. After cycling the air for 3 hours we called the desk who sent up a maintenance guy. He changed the air filter. Now I'm NOT and HVAC specialist but I have 2 units in my home....the air filter?! It did nothing to solve the problem. We contacted the manager who agreed their was a problem and moved us to a lower floor. The air did work but we were in for our next Christmas treat. Standing in the shower the water started to back up from the drain....after 6 inches we turned it off and watched the level decrease slowly. What was left was sickening at best and a health issue at worst....hair of every texture, length, curl and color was in the tub. Charming. While owned by the Halekulani the Parc is managed as a completely separate hotel - it shows. One last thing, the pool only gets sun for one hour a day due to the Sheraton next door!

The Parc was so clean! I am very picky about my hotel rooms, and found this one up to my standards. The location was great--you walk across the street and pass through the "sister hotel" Haluakani to get to the beach. There is a Starbuck, PF Changs, Cheeseburger, etc within a few steps of the hotel. It is worth walking to the left after reaching the beach. If you head down to the "ponds" the water is calmer, and you don't get as sandy. The breakfast at Parc AM (Nobu during the evening) was overpriced. Worth it to go across to the regular restaurants. Only drawback: very noisy construction on the Trump hotel nearby starting at 5 am. Should be done within a few months though.

As some folks have mentioned there is noise around the hotel. Well guess what folks, it's Hawaii get over it! Friends of mine were in another hotel down the street and said they could also hear trash pick up and some construction noise. It is not overwhelming. The staff at the Parc are super friendly and always there to help. This was a business trip for me. I had two other individuals with me and they both got sick during our 17 day stay. The staff went out of their way to provide comfort items such as honey, coughdrops, etc to my team, and even checked on them to ensure they were alright. The security at the hotel is nice as well. They are dressed professionally and walk the premise regularly. One nice feature I liked was that they do not have tacky gift shops in the hotel. And while there don't forget to eat at Nobu's. It was well worth every cent. One thing I did not like was the parking garage. Only about two and half decks are for self parking and at $ dollars a day as a guest I feel I should have a spot allocated to me. The lot feels up fast from Thurs-Sun and the only way to get a spot is valet. I am not against tipping but this was a business trip and my company does not reimburse tips. I also noticed that the lot full sign would be on most of the time and when I took the car into the garage I would find numerous spots, I felt this a ploy to get people to valet their vehicles. That is my only downside to this wonderful and friendly establishment.
