This was our first visit to San Francisco and staying at The Prescott was fantastic with regard to location. I was concerned that it being a old building it would be quite noisy but this was not the case for us during our stay. The staff was exceptional and assistance from the concierge was very pleasant and always helpful. The room was not large but still vary accommodating for a urban area. Parking fees were very high but it is that way throughout San Francisco. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is older but quite well kept. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were very soft. I am very picky about this, and these were very nice. I would say the hotel is more a 3 1/2 than 4 star hotel. Pretty expensive, plus hotel parking was $44 per night, plus tax. No free wifi, no free breakfast. There was complimentary coffee and tea in the morning. There is a great little Crepery just down the street that was a great breakfast place.
