The location is good, and the internet is free. The room was small though and the price is a little high. No parking available for guests, there is a parking lot nearby, which costs like 30 bucks a day. Overall, the experience was good, I believe all the cons are really standard for the area.

Great hotel, however, the valet parking is kind of steep price wise. There is a parking garage 50 feet to the west, same side of the street for about a third less!

The hotel was nice, but there were many un-posted cost's to be aware of. The complimentary continental breakfast consists of only coffee.... The on site restaurant for breakfast is extremely over priced. A round trip taxi ride to the I-Hop will cost you far less, and this includes the cost of the meal. Parking is valet only, and it costs over $50.00 a day. There is closer parking much less and within walking distance to the hotel. The hotel photographs on the website do not represent the actual layout. The room quality, bed, bath, and cleanliness were great.

We loved this hotel. The staff was so friendly and made everything very easy. We are not particularly city savvy people, and the staff was really helpful. We debated about using the valet parking, as $44 seemed a bit pricey, but it was so worth it, not having to schlep our luggage around town and the in and out privileges were nice. The front desk was great about an early check in, and even though our room wasn't ready, (we arrived at noon, which is check-out time) did a pre-check in and the bellman held our bags while we started exploring the city. The location is wonderful. We walked down to Fisherman's Wharf and Ghiridelli Square, and took the cable cars back. Union Square has great shopping and restaurants, we had breakfast at Bellini, very good. Chinatown is just blocks away. The room was cozy, perhaps small by American standards, but well appointed and comfortable. It is an older hotel, which is part of it's charm, but everything was in good repair and clean. We did have a flat screen TV, but hardly used it. The hotel was very quiet, we did not have a street view, but looked out at the interior of the block, which was fine with me, because we did not get any street noise that way. We would definitely stay here again.
