Good for an overnight stopover...

This is a much older hotel and does not have the comforts of the newer ones close by, but it does not have the price tag either. It was a basic clean hotel, the rooms and bathrooms were small. It is on a good bus route and easy to get to the airport. I would not recommend this for a family and not really sure that they had rooms that woulf accommodate more than 2 people. the air conditioner was a window unit which was turned off all day when we were out. it is located on an industrial estate, the resturant was mexican I think, no menu available and it was neveropen. there was a chinese resturant and a liqor store close as well as 2 garages.

this hotel was close to the airport and provided a shuttle. it is a no frills older hotel but very clean. the front desk was very friendly though suprised that I stayed for 3 days. this is usually a longterm hotel. It is very close to bus routes on the island and the buses are great, cheap and run frequently. you can do a circle tour of the island for $*, if you get a transfer you can get off once and then resume the trip.

I had an 11 hour layover, and I really didn't want to stay at the airport for that long. I called all of the hotels that were in the airport area, and the Pacific Marina was the cheapest. They picked me up within 15 minutes, check in was a breeze, and soon after that, I was in dreamland! The hotel staff was very friendly, the room was small, but very clean, and the best part, is the FREE shuttle is 24 hours a day! Needless to say, it was perfect for one night!!

Front desk friendly: I give it a 5 from 1-10, I did not get a good feeling from staff. No room service, and standards did not meet price. They charge you upfront becuase they know what you are getting in to. Spiders and Lizards in room--not good experience..You can stay at a nice hotel in Wakiki for 20-30 more buck per night--trust me its worth it. If you are going to Hawaii for an unforgetable vacation stay away from this place, its located in a bad area--like I said, spend a couple of more bucks and enjoy your stay..Oh yeah, noise outside did not let me sleep during the day.
