Don't even consider it, seriously. It was filthy and in an area where we didn't even feel safe. There was hair all over the bathroom floor, peeling paint and it smelled! We chose this hotel because we landed on a Friday night in Honolulu to see Pearl Harbor on Saturday morning before we flew to Kauai. The only good thing positive we could say is that the staff was nice and helpful. The airport shuttle was quick, they helped lock up our luggage while we visited Pearl Harbor and helped us find transportation there and the bartender even offered us some meatloaf.

This hotal's parking space is very limited and the rooms are very small with no refrigerator and the bed are veery old and the mattresses are also very old, the picture in this add showed a swimming pool but I did not see one.

This hotel room was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in.The bathroom was horrible there was hair all around the toilet and in the shower.The toilet was filthy. They don't provide coffee pots in the room at all.The restaurant attached to the hotel was a Chinese food place and closed very early in the day( at least on the days I was there).After dark the parking lot was full of activity that did not appear safe or legal from what I could see.

If all you are looking for is a place to lay your head, then this is the place for you. This is a no frills motel right next to the Airport so you will hear the occasional plane overhead. On the plus side you do not have to pay for parking and wireless internet is included. On the negative my room was extremely small and the lamp next to the bed did not work, the air conditioner never turned off and the bathroom needed a serious remodel. However, if you are in town only for business and need to be near the Airport it is good value for you money in Hawaii.

The recent surge in hotel reservations on Oahu had me scrambling to find decent, affordable and clean hotel accomodations for my family. I found that the Pacific Marina Inn on Lagoon Drive near the airport fit my requirements well. The motel may seem a bit worn and the furnishings are basic, but if all you need is a place to sleep then you may not mind. The bonuses are free parking (saves $15-$30 per day) and convenient access to Honolulu from the airport side; and free wi-fi access in the hotel lobby. So it seems to be a well-known secret among locals for a good, affordable, no-frills place to stay. Pacific Marina Inn is now on my short list of local places to stay.
