My experience at the Outrigger was amazing. From the moment we walked into the hotel our luggage was taken care of and actually beat us to the room. Beds were very comfortable. Room was beautiful and quiet. Staff was soooo friendly and accommodating. Beach is right out the back door and also beautiful. Hot tubs were great at night with live Hawaiian music in the background.

This hotel has an excellent location location location to any and everything you could want and is on the beach. We ate at the Shorebird restaurant a couple of times and would recommend coupons. Good value. Also, fun to cook your meat on the grill. Ate breakfast there too and that was very good. Will come back for sure. If you rent an umbrella on the beach and are staying for a week be sure to ask for a weekly rental because daily is pricy. Still had a great time.

It has the perfect location. Walking distance from everything. Close to shopping, eating, bus and trolley routes, jogging sidewalk, and of course on the beach.!!! Friendly and very helpful staff. Everything is super clean, even the public bathrooms. It has 3 restaurants, with very good food and reasonable prices, beautiful stores, 2 small markets, and a Starbucks, all on site. There are free activities for the guests, everyday. The activities include Eukele lessons, how to make a leis, a Hawaiian coconut bracelet, how to hula dance, painting, etc. It has a beautiful waterfall, and a very nice pool area. It felt like a resort instead of a hotel. We had beautiful views from our balcony, and we were only on the 7th floor. We could see the ocean, the mountains, the pool area, the terrace( we even saw a wedding in the terrace), the waterfall, and other hotels. The room was quite, and comfortable with beautiful wood doors, and furniture. You get a room to get change and shower before your flight when your flight is at night, and of course check out is at noon. We LOVED IT!!!! You also get free long distance calls to the US from your room.

The Hotel, the beautiful setting, how clean everything was it didn't matter what time of day or night, and the staff was so welcoming and helpful. I will always pick this Hotel when traveling to Hawaii.

My husband and I spent several nights at the Outrigger Reef, and were delighted at the customer service of the staff, from the bellman, to the check-in staff, to the housekeeping support. The room was outstanding, beautifully decorated, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. There were multiple activities taking place at the pool and at other locations whithin the hotel, all of which we found very engaging. Our every whim was cared for, and we will definitely return. My only suggestion would be to boost the power on the wireless networking from lodgenet, as sometimes, it took a little longer than necessary to get a connection.
