Twin beds (very hard) were a surprise!! Room could NOT have been smaller (I think, because they said I was upgraded to a ocean view room). Bathroom could NOT have been smaller. Clean. For young adults this should be ok because of price. For Senior citizens like me, I will spend more for comfort. The staff was super nice. This place was too sparse for me. I ended up staying only one night.

One thing you have to know about this place is that there are only TWIN BEDS. I booked this offer through Travel agency and upon checking in found out the above. Add to that the beds are rock hard and the bathrooms are really small. The photo of the hotel portrays the beds to be double size. checked out after one night and was told I couldnt get a refund because nowhere in the literature does it say there are anythiing but twin beds. Just a heads up for anyone thinking they are buying space with beds that are larger than twin. The checkin staff was polite and the hotel was clean and the common areas are quite pleasant though there is an extra charge for just about everything.....#40safe in room...extra charge paper for the printer...be sure to bring your own.#41

I took this trip out to visit my fiance who is stationed at Scholfield. It's about a half hour driving from Scholfield, Tripler, and the North Shore, so the location was really convenient. The staff is REALLY nice, and always available to give directions, etc. I liked staying there. You can walk to Ala Moana shopping center, the beach, and a couple of other cute local landmarks. The parking is * a night, but considering that cars get broken into a lot in that area, it's a necessary expense. That being said... for the cost, there should be free internet in the rooms, not the * dollar a night crap. The wifi in the lobby is unreliable, and it's always crowded. If you try to use the business center, it's something redonkulous like * dollars for a half hour. The bathroom was dirty when I got there, then was never cleaned after I got them to clean it that one time. They replaced the towels, tossed out the garbage, and did the linens, but didn't actually sweep or scrub out the tub/tiolet. That would be fine, except I was staying there for TWO WEEKS which is a lot of grime to watch build up. The hotel restaurant doesn't follow its posted schedule. Also, everything is really fried -- how can you be on an island and mess up seafood? The pool bar is so sketchy that my fiance and I walked in and walked out immediately after -- it's like someone's sketchy basement party, and is also not officially affiliated with the hotel, so you can't bring drinks back to your room. The other thing to keep in mind is that they seem to store the roll away beds in the open air garage.

The room smelled. Traffic noise. The toilet and sink leaked all night. The televisions sound kept going on and off. The overall conditon of the hotel room was old out dated and SMALL. The Internet was one of the worst Im ever used when it worked. Then they make you get a new password. You will have to pay extra for Internet in your room. Free Internet is in the lobby. It is a pain. If you just want a place to stay and dont care about all of the above then this might be the place for you. You will have to walk to get to the beach. It is a long walk. The bus stops are close and they will drop you off close to the beach. We did not rent a car and wanted to learn the bus routes. #40They are very good#41 Go to an ABC Store. There is one right across the street from the Hotel. Purchase a bus pass. We bought a four day pass and found it was not long enough. A four day is * and a month pass is *. #40Cost is for each person#41 While at the ABC purchase a bus book. The book will show you all the bus routes and places to go. If you have days left on the bus pass give it to someone else to use instead of throwing it away. Next time we go we will NOT stay at this Hotel. We WILL upgrade to a better hotel. It was just too out dated. If you only want to watch TV #40When its working#41 and sleep at a cheap price this Hotel might work. This is NOT the place to impress a date or wife. Not very romantic.
