wonderful stay

My husband and I vacationed in Waikiki May 16 thru the 22nd. We stayed at the Ilikai. Lovely, lovely hotel right in the middle of everything. Shopping, restaurants, and, of course, fabulous Waikiki Beach. Our room was very spacious and comfortable; clean and airy. We had a huge balcony with table and chairs and a fantastic view of the ocean, lagoon and Diamond Head. We would highly recommend this hotel to couples - very quiet and enjoyable without a lot of children running around. We had a couple of great lunches at the little outdoor bar/restaurant -- affordable and delicious. The staff were all so friendly and helpful - they are darlings. My one and only complaint: the towels were a bit too scratchy and as in most hotels, not enough hangers in the two huge closets. We did call down to front desk and within minutes a nice man was at the door with 20 extra hangers - mahalo! Nice job Ilikai - we would definitely return for another stay there.

This was everything the other travelers sd about it. The staff was very nice and helpful. The valet was excellent. They made sure we new where we were going and one day I took my ring off due to plans changing and it feel inside the consol by the e break. Well they did everything they could and got my ring out. They did not have to help as they were very busy at this time. The hotel was so nice the rooms are huge. Just sitting out on the porch by the restaurant was so nice looking at the water and sail boats. This is defiantly the best way to go. Note: If you do have a car which is highly recommended get a GPS. could not have gotten around with out it saved us big time. Also food cost $$ we found a couple nice spots. A man was standing on the corner handing out the menu Thats how we found Don Divino's I think that's how you spell it. around the corner from the 24 hr cafe which is ok but Divino's was Sooo GOOD we ate there twice for breakfast and once for lunch I would have liked to ate there more but activites ran in the way. Also it was in our price range$, Also someone tipped about LenardÂ’s bakery. cheap and fabulous. When we come back this is our hotel for sure

Our stay at the Ilikai was awesome! We originally booked a mountain view 2-bdrm suite for our family of 5, but to our delight, we were notified when checking in that we were given an upgrade to an ocean view 2-bdrm suite. The room was very true to what you see on the virtual tour, but even better once inside. The view and sunsets were amazing being on the 24th floor! We were so close to the beach and busy enjoying our stay that we never even made it to the pool. The breakfast was good...fresh fruit and pastries with juice and coffee, and for an additional fee you could have the buffet which was very good! The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful with tourist questions! Our room was kept very clean, and the valet guys were very quick at getting our car when we needed to take it out. I highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay at the Ilikai again if we return to Oahu!

We stayed here for a week and found the accomodations to be clean and affordable. The staff was friendly and extremely accomodating to our needs. If you rent a car, be prepared to pay the daily valet fee as there is no parking overnight nearby.
