I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were unbelievably helpful and went out of their way to make our stay there a great one. The hotel is stunning! I loved the classic maitai at The Maitai Bar.

Great location in the middle of Waikiki beach, just a block from center of downtown. Has the world famous Mai Tai Bar on the beach and semi-private beach. The older part of the hotel has been recently renovated but still has cool old school charm. Lots of on site boutique shops and a great but expensive restaurant Azure. Downside, if you want to catch a tour bus you have to walk to next door to the Sheraton to catch it. You are just a block away from all the high end boutique shops on the main drag and two blocks from the International market. Nice garden areas and huge verandas to rock a chair. Peakaboo views from the larger garden suites vs the smaller tower rooms with ocean views. Excellent service and staff. There is an additional room charge everyday added to your regualr bill.

This was our 2nd stay at the Royal Hawaiian. I could go back every year. The view, room, food and service are the best. The hotel is like an oasis amid all the business of the area around it. It is heaven and we highly recommend the hotel to our friends.
