Booked this hotel through Travel agency at a great rate! Location was perfect. Close to museums, Chicago style pizza, and the Blues. Starbucks and Jewel grocery close by. Easy to walk to destinations from the hotel. Top quality breakfast at Yolk, steps away from the hotel. The El stop is a few blocks away. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Stayed for four nights in August 2010. Check in is 3pm, however, they will take and secure your luggage for you until your room is ready. There is a CTA bus, Red line and Orange line station around the corner for easy access to all locations. Grant Park is across the street and the Field Museum, Aquarium and Soldier Field are all within walking distance. Plus the hotel is not that far from downtown and we choose to walk back some nights just to extend our sightseeing of the city. Based on other reviews we decided to avoid the hotel restaurant and eat at Yolk's cafe. I highly recommend Yolk's cafe for breakfast around corner on Michigan Ave - good food, large portions, not overly priced. Room was clean and staff was friendly and helpful, no issues. The Internet service was temperamental but usable. I will definitely stay again on my next trip, hotel is everything you want when vacationing, unless you plan to stay in your hotel room for your vacation.

My family just stayed here to take in some sights and watch the Bears. The price was reasonable and you simply can't beat the location. The rooms were nice, staff was great, no complaints at all. Even the food that was offered at the restaurant within the hotel was good. Don't know that I would stay anywhere else if visiting downtown again.

I thought the hotel was an amazing deal for its location. We were able to walk to many of the attractions (museums, Shedds, etc.) and were very close to bus stops and train stops. It was a great location! The room was clean, the front desk was very nice and very helpful. The outdoor pool was very cold even though we have had a very warm summer and the steps into the pool are extremely slippery...many people were falling over multiple days...so be careful. The interior was dated and the rooms were small but again, it was so cheap compared to all the other choices, I was able to overlook all of that stuff. It was clean and affordable and that was what I was looking for in the middle of Chicago. The entire staff was very kind and helpful. I really liked the place.
