    We had a great time at this resort. The Waikiki Beach is right there. Plenty of great restaurants. The breakfast buffet every morning was delicious. The service was excellent. We weren't use to the refrigerator but we got that straightened out. The room was beautiful. We had a room on the city side but that turned out great because you can't see the ocean at night when we would sit on the balcony. You are right in the center of things to walk to. It's like being in the center of Rodeo Drive with all the nice stores right next door. Would stay again. We did rent a car and did a lot of sight seeing and that was worth it too. Just a wonderful vacation!

    This was our 3rd trip staying at the Hyatt and again we stayed 10 nights in our spacious room. Could have been longer. We love it and what a view over-looking the beach, street and pool area. Lots of action from our laini. A wonderful breakfast was included with our room and it was like leaving family when we once again said good bye to the staff especially in the Terrace Grill (where breakfast is served). You are all so wonderful. Very conveniently, a doctor is located in one of the towers (Diamond Head) which is great should a problem arise. Although we feel so at home in this hotel, it is getting tired and they are updating the rooms with new carpeting, etc. They were laundering the curtains when we were there. So many places to shop and lots of ABC Stores thru-out the hotel not to mention the wonderful restaurants with top quality food. The check-in girl was also excellent and very accommodating. Never used the pool area but by 10 AM most of the chairs were taken. Prefer crossing the street to the beach for the nice breeze. We'll be back.

    Hotel was perfect, staff was very friendly and helpful! Location couldn't get any better (20 min drive from airport), 5 min's drive from diamond head and right across the beach (complimentary chairs and beach towels were provided). Be aware if you are renting a car there is a 20$/day charge to park in a secure building across the hotel (or $24 if you want to use valet service)

    Omg! it was a pleasant surprise when we arrived. the beach is just right in front of you when you come out of the hotel lobby! it was so beautiful! ...

    OMG! It was a pleasant surprise when we arrived. The beach is just right in front of you when you come out of the hotel lobby! It was so beautiful! You really don't need to rent a car because of the location! It is close to everything...food...shopping and more! The rooms were absolutely just like in the picture they showed on there website and it was very clean and comfortable! It was our first time there and we loved it...the beach and hotel! Would recommend it to anyone! Yes, you might have to pay more out of your pocket, but it was definitely worth it!

    visited in the west tower on 31st floor with family. It was an upgraded room. while the balcony was small and vertigo sets in within three minutes it had one of the most spectacular views i've seen of the waikiki/diamond head skyline. in the afternoon, before the 40 mph winds, each surf spot across waikiki to diamond head was clearly visible. and at night kalakaua street was lit up giving a unique take on the traditional waikiki view. the only drawback of the lights from the hotels, cars, street, and ocean was the view of diamond head was cut in half. but, clearly visible. it is worth the upgrade even though it is a side view (not front). you're not going to see this from your house in kansas.
