This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel was beautiful. I probably took more pictures of the hotel than I did of the beach. It is right in the center of everything. The beach was right across the street. The hotel provided beach chairs and towells for free. The staff was friendly and helpful. The exercise room was great, we used it everyday. The pool was beautiful and there was even a laundry room. The view from our room was spectacular. We could walk almost anywhere we needed to go. It was very close to all the shopping and restaurants. We even walked to the aquarium. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. This was a wonderful trip thanks to Hyatt Regency.

This was our second time to stay at the Hyatt Regency. We love the location and the view. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We feel that the attendants do a nice job on the rooms/baths each day. The breakfast buffet is always excellent . The first time we stayed we ate at The Colony and were extremely pleased. This visit we were with friends and we recommended The Colony for their anniversary dinner, but the four of us were expremely disappointed. Our friends ordered filet, and it was very disappointing . It was certainly not filet. Both my husband and I were also disappointed in our entrees. We all felt we paid too much for the quality and taste.

The hotel was great. All accomodations were excellent. Service was exceptional. Cost was certainly a concern. We had a breakfast for 2 package but with our nieces with us we still paid over $50 every morning. I know we could have gone elsewhere but we already paid for 2 breakfasts. The hotel was clean, the rooms were large and every room has a balcony. We were on the 19th floor with an ocean view but you can still hear the street noise. Unfortunately, there was a drummer playing buckets on the street. It was not unbearable but a slight nuisance.One perk with the hotel was the complimentary use of towels for the beach AND the use of beach chairs on a first come first serve basis. The beach chairs are great for use on Waikiki or any beach you go to on the island. The minibar has been amptied and is available a normal fridge for drinks. Buy drinks at the local market and store to cool for refreshment in the room. The AC worked great, the girls thought it was too cold and could not turn it down. I knew how but did not share the secret and it was great to come in from the heat. They had movies at the pool for the kids. If you use an online travel agency and are a Hyatt Gold Member, you will not receive points for those dollars spent on the hotel room only other costs paid separately. My nieces and wife went to get their nails done in one of the shops and I was disgusted by the dirty shop ceiling even within a Hyatt complex. Overall our stay at the Hyat was enjoyable and relaxing. We would stay here again.
