The first night of our 4 night stay we were awakened at 3 in the morning by a couple in a nearby room that were having a terrible fight. I listened for a few minutes and then decided to call the front desk because I was concerned for the safety of the parties and because it was keeping us from sleeping. While this was an unpleasant start to our stay the security staff was on our floor within one minute of my call and the situation was resolved. This was also a bit ironic because this was our 30th anniversary celebration and we stayed at a Hyatt on the first night of our honeymoon where we were also awakened early in the morning because of other guests!

Just returned from the Hyatt Regency, loved the hotel and staff !! Hated the resort (garbage) fee of $18.95 per day, but hey it includes 2 bottles of water per day which probably costs them .30 cents each. The room was clean and nice and had a great mattress !

Staff is very warn and friendly. The rooms require updating and was missing furniture. Unfortunately the hotel receives alot of wind. There are better choices in Waikiki. Loved the pool deck & bar however the pool is small and not heated.
