Important Hotel Information
- From August 2012-February 2013, the hotel will be undergoing renovation of the rooms and hallways. Work will be limited from 8am-5pm, 5 days a week with the heavy work limited from 10am-4pm.

the location was perfect wwere able to spend many hours snorkeling in the man made reef that was rite across the steeet. we enjoyed a great meal in the sports bar. there was plenty assistance and no hassels at all they helped my husband arange for a car we had a lovely drive the hotel was absultly beautiful.

the hotel is suited for friends, young couples to stay in hawaii. its across the beach so its distance to the water is a big plus. i overpaid for a 'ocean view' room when its really a mountain view and you can see the ocean if you go on the balcony. i would recommend either going for ocean front or just save your money for no views because it won't make a difference. overall its a decent place.

We stayed here for our honeymoon, the hotel staff were so attentive and upgraded us to a beach front view for free. The staff also gave us some great advice on local restaurants and places to see that we ended up loving. The hotel is in a great location to everything that there is to do in Waikiki. The room was a great size and very clean, not 5 star clean but definitely way better than the price we have paid at similar hotels. I travel a lot and have dealt with many hotel chains, this hotel definitely had every amenity that you have become accustomed to at most hotels. So whether it is for business or play I would recommend it. The only downfall is that you could hear the buses from about 5AM in the morning, the sound insulation in the hotel is definitely not up to par as I am a pretty heave sleeper and still heard them. Beyond that I would love to stay at the hotel again sometime soon.

This is an older hotel that has been well maintained and, based on the staff, is well managed. I would not recommend it if you want a scintilla of luxury. However, if you want a great location and place to sleep without high expectations, I recommend it. The beach is right across the street and Kapiolani Park is next door. You really can't beat the location. But don't have unreasonable expectations. You'll feel good about saving money, but you won't brag about it.

I have already recommended it to someone but I warned them that it has quite loud air conditioners. The room was small with not enough room to sit on the deck but we were hardly in our room anyway so it didn't matter. The very nice pool looks over the park with a wide open view of Diamond Head and the beach. Marvelous beach sunsets from the bar. Easy internet access in the lobby. Walk to beach, zoo, aquarium and Diamond Head.
