Classy hotel.
11/09/2012Loved staying at the nugget. the pool is fabulous, everyone was very helpful there. beds were very comfortable. this is the nicest hotel downtown by far.

My husband and I recently took our first trip to Vegas and we stayed at the Golden Nugget. We absolutely loved this hotel and its location. Downtown was a very cool, exciting area that is easy to navigate. It was easy to take the bus or taxi to the strip to experience that as well. I will definitely recommend staying here to all my friends/family!

We have stayed at the Golden Nugget many times and have always had rooms in the Rush Towers facing the back towards the strip and with views of the mountains. Perfect. Quiet. This time we were given a room on the 16 floor facing Freemont. WOW! Big difference. It was loud in the room until midnight. I was tempted to call the front desk to change rooms but waited til morning. I was moved to another room facing the back and everything was good again. Thank you Rush Tower staff for being so efficient and moving me so quickly and with out any hassle. I love the Rush Towers and always recommend the GN to all my friends as a very good place to stay.

Very clean and great mattresses. Only complaint is you'd think a casino could afford to furnish a cup of coffee in the morning to their guests. They have one of those single cup Keurig machines and it costs $10 for a pack of 4. Also $7 for a bottle of water. (PS - wear your walkin' shoes!!)
