The Golden Nugget is always my first choice in Las Vegas. I have stayed at the Golden Nugget at least 5 times and have never had a negative experience. The gambling however could be better, but not the property.

I enjoyed my stay at the Golden Nugget --was apprehensive since I had heard bad things about downtown but this hotel is very nice. and it is not so huge as some of the mega resorts--smaller scale and easy to get around plus you do have the Fremont street experience out the side door. I had a gold club room and it was well appointed and most comfortable. Staff was attentive and helpful. I would stay here again
